About this site |
The Japanese files for Gone Home we introduce here is created by Ryu Ito(The manager/author of this website) and Yosei Muto.
The Fullbright Company is very open-minded(and incredibly kind as well) for localizing Gone Home to other languages and basically anyone can contribute their own translations. Although me and Yosei work as professional translator, we did this as a volunteer like anyone else who has done translations for other languages. We did it because we love this game and wanted to introduce it to the gamers in our country. It was indeed a wonderful and very satisfying experience.
THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL WEBSITE of The Fullbright Company. Although we had received a lot of kind supports from Mr. Steve Gaynor during our localization, this is basically a fan site and Mr. Steve Gaynor and The Fullbright Company have no responsibility for the quality of the Japanese localization or anything related to the Japanese localization that we created. If you feel the Japanese version is not good, that's totally our fault.
We met this beautiful game as a gamer and played it, got moved by it. And we happned to have some skills and experiences to make this happen. We hope our work will contribute to deliver the experiences that we had when we palyed the original Gone Home to the Japanese audience.
